What are Knotello companions made of?
Soft cotton yarn, stuffed with polyfill. Some pieces also use safety eyes, felt details, a metal key ring or a wooden dowel — whatever that particular piece needs. The materials are listed on each product page.
How big are they?
It varies by piece, and the exact size is on every product page. As a rough guide: the little animal companions are 9–12 cm and sit in a cupped hand, the blooms are 15–20 cm including their pot, keychains are around 8 cm, and the wall pieces run from 20 × 20 cm up to 35 × 35 cm.
Are they safe for babies and small children?
Pieces with safety eyes are securely fastened, but these are handmade keepsakes rather than certified children's toys. For babies and children under three, I'd treat them as something to keep on a shelf rather than something to chew. If you're buying for a newborn, message me and I'll make you one with embroidered eyes instead — no extra charge.
How do I wash one?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry fully. Please don't put a companion in the washing machine or tumble dryer — the stuffing shifts and the stitches lose their shape.
How long will my order take?
Ready-made pieces are dispatched within 3–5 working days. Custom banners and custom design panels take 2–3 weeks, because they're charted and stitched from scratch for you. Full detail on the shipping page.
Do you ship outside Pakistan?
Yes. Delivery is free within Pakistan on orders over Rs 5,000. For international orders, message me with your country before ordering and I'll work out the cost.
Can I ask for something custom?
Yes, and it's some of my favourite work. You can order a custom lettering banner or a custom design panel directly, and I'll confirm the wording, layout and colours with you before I start. For anything else — a specific animal, a particular colour, a piece to match a nursery — just ask.
Can I return something?
Yes, within 14 days, for any reason including simply not loving it once it's in your hands. Custom pieces are the exception, since they can't be offered to anyone else. The full detail is on the returns page.
Is each one really one of a kind?
Yes. Everything is crocheted by hand, one at a time, with no factory involved. Two pieces made from the same pattern still come out slightly differently — a stitch tighter here, a tuft that sits at its own angle. That's the nature of it, and I think it's the best part.
Do you take wholesale or bulk orders?
For events, gift bags and small wholesale runs, email me with what you need and a date. Because everything is made by hand, larger orders need a longer lead time — but I'll always tell you honestly what's possible.
Who makes them?
All of it is made by hand in Pakistan, by the girl behind Knotello. No factory, no outsourcing — the same pair of hands from the first stitch to the bow on the box.
